Boomiki

Terms of Service

Last updated 5 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Boomiki — the website boomiki.com, the web game at play.boomiki.com and the Boomiki apps — and when you buy a Boomiki plan. Please read them before you buy. In short: the free part is free; a plan is a subscription you can cancel online at any time; refunds work as described in our Refund Policy.

1. Who we are

Boomiki is provided by Boomiki ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@boomiki.com.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for payments.

2. Who may use Boomiki

Boomiki is made for children aged 3–6 to play, with a parent or carer in charge. Only an adult (18 or over) may buy a plan, create an account or sign up for emails. By doing so you confirm you are an adult and the parent or carer of the children who play.

3. What you get

  • Free: the meadow with every letter's sound, the first stations of the reading path and hide and seek. Free features have no time limit and no ads.
  • Boomiki ABC plan: the whole reading path, the tales, every game and new content as it is released, for up to 4 children in one family.

The content of a plan grows over time. We may change or replace individual games or stations to improve them, but we won't take away the core of what you paid for during a period you've paid for.

4. Prices, trials and renewal

  • Prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout, including any tax that applies. Paddle, as the seller, charges you.
  • Free trial: where a plan includes a free trial, you are charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. We email you a reminder before the trial ends.
  • Renewal: a subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the price you agreed, until you cancel. We remind you before each yearly renewal, and at least every six months on a monthly plan. If the price is going to change, we tell you in advance and you can cancel before it applies.
  • One payment (founding family): a single payment with no subscription and nothing that renews.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel online at any time, in your account or through the link in any Paddle receipt, without contacting us. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy, which includes your 14-day right to cancel.

6. Using Boomiki fairly

Please don't copy, resell or redistribute Boomiki, its characters, art, sounds or code; don't try to break or bypass its security or its grown-up gates; and don't use it in a way that harms others. We may suspend access that breaks these terms, telling you why where we can.

7. Our content

Boomiki, its characters, art, sounds, texts and software belong to us or our licensors. A plan gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Boomiki for your family's own, non-commercial use.

8. Availability

We work to keep Boomiki available and the offline version working, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Some features need a supported, up-to-date browser or device.

9. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure. We are not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Your privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy and, for children, in Privacy for kids.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the law or our plans change. We'll tell you about important changes by email before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before they apply.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of the country where you live if consumer law gives you that right. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hello@boomiki.com — see Contact.
