About Boomiki
Boomiki is a technology company building learning games for children aged 3–7: one engine, many subjects and languages, in the browser today and in the app stores next. Our first product, Boomiki ABC, teaches reading with phonics.
One engine, many subjects
Every Boomik carries a glass block on its head, and what goes inside the block sets the subject: a letter for reading, a digit for numbers, an arrow for logic. The characters, the 3D engine, the game mechanics and the content pipeline are shared, so each new subject or language is new content on the same platform, not a new app built from scratch.
Our technology
Real-time 3D characters in the browser
Our own character engine animates a whole cast of 3D characters at interactive frame rates on ordinary phones and tablets — in a web page, with no app install.
An AI-assisted content pipeline
Scripts generate the art, the voices and the letter sounds, and every sound passes an automated blind check before it ships. A new subject or language becomes data plus generated assets, reviewed by people, instead of a rewrite.
Offline-first
The game is an installable web app that plays with no network once downloaded, and updates itself between sessions, never in the middle of a lesson.
On-device speech checks
Our speech checks for “say the sound” exercises are built to run on the device itself, so a child's voice never leaves it.
Privacy by design for children
No ads, no trackers, no child accounts: a child's progress stays on the device; everything that involves money or email sits behind a grown-up check.
Business model
Each app sells its own subscription — the Boomiki ABC plan first — with a free starter part and no ads. With Boomiki 123, the Boomiki Club bundles every Boomiki app in one subscription. We sell on the web (Paddle as merchant of record), and in the App Store and Google Play with the apps.
Markets
First, bilingual and Russian-speaking families worldwide who want their children to read in their home language — today's full reading path. Next, English-speaking families with a UK synthetic-phonics path, then numbers and logic, which need little translation.
Roadmap
- NowBoomiki ABC — Reading in Russian: the full path, from sounds to first stories. In English: every letter's sound and the games.
- NextThe English reading path — UK synthetic phonics order: s, a, t, p, i, n… with words from the first week.
- ThenBoomiki 123 — Numbers and counting: a friend with a digit hops as many times as its number.
- After thatBoomiki Logic — Patterns, sorting and first steps in coding — no reading needed.
Why we build it
Learning to read should feel like play, sound right from the very first letter, and be calm enough to trust. So Boomiki teaches sounds, not letter names; it has no ads and no trackers; and children's data stays on their own devices.
